Terms of use
Last updated 15 October 2026. These terms cover the Billo app for iPhone and this website, getbillorganizer.com.
About these terms
Billo is made by Cloud Motion Lab LLC, 30 N Gould St Ste R, Sheridan, Wyoming 82801, United States ("we", "us"). These terms are an agreement between you and us. Apple is not a party to them. By using Billo or this website you accept them. Our privacy policy explains how we handle data.
Your licence to use the app
Billo is licensed to you, not sold. Your licence is Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Standard EULA"). These terms add what is specific to Billo. If anything here conflicts with the Standard EULA about the licence itself, the Standard EULA wins.
What Billo is, and what it is not
- Billo is an organiser. It keeps your bills, due dates, payments and income in one place and reminds you before bills are due.
- Billo does not pay bills, move money or connect to your bank or your billers.
- Billo is not financial, tax, legal or debt advice. Totals such as "left after bills" are calculated only from what you enter. If you are struggling with bills, free help is available, for example from Citizens Advice or MoneyHelper in the UK.
Reminders
Billo's reminders are notifications scheduled on your iPhone. They depend on things outside our control: whether notifications are allowed, Focus and Do Not Disturb, Low Power Mode, the date and time on your device, and whether the app is still installed. Please treat reminders as a help and check amounts and due dates with your billers. Paying your bills on time remains your responsibility.
Your data
What you enter in Billo stays on your iPhone, and we keep no copy, so we cannot restore it if your device is lost or the app is deleted. Your iPhone's backup may include it. The privacy policy has the details.
Billo Pro: subscriptions and purchases
Some features need Billo Pro. Depending on what the app offers you, you can buy:
- a weekly subscription, renewing every week;
- a yearly subscription, renewing every year, which may start with a 7-day free trial if you have not had one before;
- a lifetime purchase, a one-time payment that never renews.
The price, in your currency, and what you get are shown in the app before you buy. Apple processes every payment and charges your Apple Account.
- Renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price and period unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Apple charges the renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.
- Free trial. If your plan starts with a free trial, it turns into a paid subscription when the trial ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before that. Free trials are limited to one per Apple Account.
- Cancel any time on your iPhone: Settings, then your name, then Subscriptions. Billo's settings link there too. You keep Pro until the end of the period you have paid for.
- Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com, under Apple's rules.
- Lifetime means Billo Pro for as long as we offer Billo and support your version of iOS, unless the purchase is refunded.
- Price changes to a subscription are announced by Apple, which asks for your consent where its rules require it.
Nothing in this section takes away any right you have by law, including any right to cancel or to a refund.
Using Billo fairly
Use Billo for your own lawful purposes. Don't copy, resell or modify the app, try to get around its paid features, or reverse engineer it except where the law allows.
This website, the guides and the tools
The guides on getbillorganizer.com are general information about bills in the UK and US. We check them against official sources when we write them, but rules and prices change, so a guide may be out of date. The calculators give estimates from the numbers you type in. Neither is advice for your situation; check with your provider or an official source before you act.
Billy and our marketing
Billy is a cartoon character. The stories in our videos, including Billy's bills and income, are made up to explain how bills work, and the figures in them are examples. The voice in our videos and some images in our posts are generated with AI. Anything shown as a Billo screen is a real capture of the app.
Our content
Billo, Billy, the app and the content of this website belong to Cloud Motion Lab LLC. You are welcome to link to any page and to quote short parts with a link back. Please don't copy whole guides or our artwork.
Changes to Billo and to these terms
We improve Billo over time and may add, change or remove features. If a change takes away a paid feature you rely on, you can cancel your subscription, and you keep your legal rights. When we change these terms, we update the date at the top; important changes are also mentioned in the app's update notes before they take effect. If you don't accept a change, you can stop using Billo and cancel.
If we ever stop offering Billo, the app on your iPhone may keep working, but we may stop updating or supporting it.
Our responsibility to you
We are responsible for loss you suffer that was a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, for loss caused by things outside our reasonable control (such as a notification your device did not show), or for the results of wrong or missing information you entered.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability where the law does not allow it, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for your statutory rights. If you are a consumer in the UK, those include your rights for digital content under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
If you live outside the UK and the European Union, and to the extent your local law allows: Billo is provided "as is" without warranties beyond those the law requires, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for Billo in the 12 months before the claim.
Which law applies, and where to bring a claim
If something goes wrong, please email dev@slyapp.co first. Most problems can be solved that way.
- If you live in the UK or the European Union, the law of the country where you live applies to these terms, and you can bring a claim in the courts where you live.
- If you live in the United States, these terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without affecting the consumer protection laws of your state. You can bring a claim in small claims court where you live, or in the state or federal courts of Sheridan County, Wyoming, or anywhere else your state's law allows.
- Everywhere else, Wyoming law applies, but you keep any protection that the mandatory consumer laws of your country give you.
General
If a court finds part of these terms invalid, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a term straight away, we can still enforce it later. We may transfer these terms to a company that takes over Billo; your rights won't be reduced by that. These terms and the privacy policy are the whole agreement between you and us about Billo, alongside Apple's Standard EULA.
